An LGMRT SDC190H integrated down-the-hole drill rig has successfully passed customer acceptance at a mining site in Uzbekistan, following equipment delivery and on-site verification of its remote-control system.
The acceptance test was conducted under actual mine-site conditions, focusing on the operating response and stability of the remote-control functions. Successful completion of the test marks an important milestone in the project and confirms that the machine is ready for subsequent drilling operations on site.


Configured according to the customer's operational requirements, this SDC190H is equipped with a remote-control console, enabling selected machine functions to be operated from a distance.
This configuration provides greater operational flexibility in complex drilling environments and helps reduce the need for personnel to remain close to the active drilling area during certain procedures.
The system was verified directly at the customer's mine rather than solely under factory conditions, allowing its performance to be assessed in a real working environment.
For the SDC190H, the remote-control console, one-button drilling and automatic hole-positioning navigation are available as optional intelligent functions.

The SDC190H is designed for large-diameter drilling in open-pit mines and quarries, with a drilling range of 138–229 mm. It supports 102 mm, 114 mm, 127 mm and 140 mm drill rods, together with 6-inch, 7-inch and 8-inch DTH hammers.
A 563 kW engine is paired with an air compressor rated at 31 m³/min at 24.5 bar, providing the compressed-air output required for demanding DTH drilling applications. The machine has an operating weight of approximately 28,500 kg.
Its HRH170 rotary head delivers up to 6,400 Nm of rotary torque and a maximum rotary speed of 80 rpm, supporting drilling performance across varying rock conditions.
With equipment delivery and on-site acceptance completed, the SDC190H has reached another key stage in its deployment at the Uzbekistan mining project.

The project also demonstrates the practical application of remote-control technology in large-diameter DTH drilling and reflects the continued development of mining equipment toward more intelligent and automated operation.
