LGMRT Mining partners with international allies to chart a shared development blueprint

From June 3 to 4, customers from Southeast and South Asia—attracted by the Jinan market’s specific mining needs—visited LGMG Mining’s Jinan factory for an in-depth inspection and discussions. Accompanied by Sandvik business representatives, the three parties engaged in three key activities centered on the open‑pit drill‑rig product line: technical exchanges, factory tours, and benchmark site assessments. The visit aimed to select the most suitable, efficient, and reliable mining equipment solutions for local operating conditions and to seek essential support for enhancing mining operational capabilities.

On the first day’s meeting, LGMG Mining provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the company: its business profile, team structure, open‑pit drill‑rig product line, and overseas service cases under LGMRT. Attendees’ key questions were answered in detail.

During the overseas service segment, LGMG emphasized the measures taken to ensure stable operation of equipment abroad: engineers are dispatched to provide handover, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting training; assistance is given to build safety spare‑parts inventories—minimizing downtime losses.

Customer representatives expressed strong recognition of LGMG’s product line strategy, technical strength, and overseas aftermarket support system, and showed keen interest.

The guests then visited LGMG Mining’s production line, observing up close the final assembly process of the open-pit drill rigs. The flexible production layout and strict quality control system left a strong impression on the visitors.

On site, an operational demonstration of the ST120F surface top-hammer drill rig was conducted. The Indian delegation was particularly familiar with LGMRT’s surface drill rigs, having collaborated with the company for many years in the drill rig supply sector. Currently, over 30 LGMRT drill rigs are operating efficiently in the Indian market, earning users’ trust with their outstanding stability and performance. Mr. Arun, a representative from the Indian customer group, praised the stability and adaptability of LGMRT rigs in various working conditions, and offered valuable suggestions for optimization based on their performance under harsh conditions in India.

True performance is proven in the field. When the delegation arrived at a flagship client site at an iron mine in Hebei, three ST120(H) top-hammer drill rigs and one SDC150 down-the-hole (DTH) drill rig were operating in coordination on the same platform. The drill arms positioned precisely, the drill bits fractured rock powerfully, and the dust collection system effectively contained dust within the mist canopy—vividly showcasing the rigs’ real-world performance.

Of particular note was the mine’s earliest ST120 unit, delivered in 2019. To date, its engine has run for over 14,000 hours, with drilling time exceeding 10,000 hours, all while maintaining excellent fuel economy. This long-term performance fully validates the machine’s mature and reliable product quality.

After two days of in-depth evaluation, LGMG Mining’s surface drill rigs received high praise from customers for their user-friendly operation, exceptional stability, efficient drilling performance, and outstanding fuel economy.
