Five Years, Ten Sessions of Craftsmanship | LGMRT’s 10th Underground Training Concludes

From June 9 to 13, 2025, the 10th edition of LGMRT’s specialized underground equipment training program concluded successfully in Jinan. Since its inception in 2018, the program has been held ten times, empowering more than 400 operators and frontline maintenance personnel. This session focused on the efficient operation and maintenance of key equipment—UD391 and underground loaders—and delivered a five-day systematic training combining theory with scenario-based practical exercises to 30 technical backbones from mines across the country.

Ten Sessions of In-depth Training Targeting Real Maintenance Challenges

From its first session to the tenth, LGMRT has remained focused on solving practical problems in underground mining. This round was specifically designed around long-term service demands for the UD391 jumbo and LHDs, with four key training modules:

1. In-depth Theoretical Instruction

Detailed analysis of rock drill operation principles、 Maintenance procedures for CN IV engines、Hydraulic and electrical systems training

2. Full Scenario-based Practice

Drill rig assembly and commissioning、Vehicle pressure measurement、Simulated troubleshooting covering critical operation scenes

3. Rotational Group Training

Two groups alternated between the factory workshop and testing ground、Each participant completed over 12 hours of hands-on training

4. Technical Roundtable

Engineers responded to questions on site、28 optimization suggestions for equipment collected

This session not only equipped the 30 engineers with core skills like UD391 pressure calibration and rapid loader troubleshooting, but also drove product iteration through their firsthand improvement feedback. When participants return to their sites, they bring more than memories of training in Jinan—they carry real solutions for efficient equipment use. This is the most down-to-earth interpretation of craftsmanship inheritance.
