LGMG Mining Excavator Intermediate Skills Training Concludes

To further practice its excellent service philosophy of “Always Online, Always Reliable,” build an elite service team with solid theoretical knowledge, advanced technical skills, and rapid response capabilities, and provide comprehensive support for the efficient operation of mining equipment throughout its full lifecycle, LGMG recently organized and successfully concluded the sixth session of its Mining Excavator Intermediate Skills Certification Training.

1. Three-in-One Training System to Strengthen Core Capabilities

Based on common service challenges at domestic mining sites, this training addressed key issues among service personnel, such as fragmented theoretical knowledge, overreliance on experience-based diagnosis, and insufficient capability in handling complex faults. A closed-loop “three-in-one” training system covering theoretical foundation, practical empowerment, and specialized breakthroughs was established to achieve the core training goals of understanding principles, making accurate judgments, and solving real problems.

Breaking away from the traditional textbook-based teaching model, the training deeply integrated three core knowledge areas—hydraulic systems, electrical control, and complete machine products—with typical fault cases. Through fault mechanism deduction, interactive Q&A, and group discussions, instructors systematically explained the characteristics of electro-hydraulic proportional control valves, CAN bus transmission logic, complete machine power transmission paths, and failure mechanisms of key components. This helped trainees build a complete system knowledge framework and laid a solid foundation for rapid response and accurate diagnosis in unexpected mining site conditions.

2. Practical Training to Enhance Service Capabilities

Hands-on practice was the core part of this training. The training base was equipped with mining excavator core component training benches and complete machine fault simulation systems, providing trainees with an immersive practical training environment.

Under the guidance of senior technicians, trainees completed disassembly, measurement, and assembly training on key components such as hydraulic main pumps, multi-way directional valves, main control valves, and swing mechanisms. Through core skills training on actual machines, including electrical component measurement and diagnosis as well as hydraulic system coordination pressure testing, the trainees further strengthened their ability to stay “Always Online” when customers need support and ensure equipment remains “Always Reliable” during operation.

3. Specialized Perkins Engine Maintenance Training

As a major highlight of this program, a dedicated Perkins engine training module was specially added. Perkins-certified engineers were invited to provide full-course instruction, systematically explaining key topics such as Perkins engine structure and operating principles, common rail fuel system characteristics, and electronic control system logic.

Combining theoretical learning with hands-on engine bench disassembly and assembly practice, trainees gained proficiency in core skills such as high-pressure common rail system component disassembly and assembly, valve train disassembly and timing calibration, and fault code reading and analysis. This specialized training effectively strengthened the service team’s capabilities in imported engine maintenance and supported the implementation of one-stop service solutions.

The successful completion of this training marks an important step for LGMG in strengthening its talent team and consolidating its service competitiveness.
